Disney classics have inspired the imagination of our youth for generations. As children we grew wishing the wishes and dreaming the dreams that make Disney so magical. The movies captivated us and enticed our imagination.  As little girls we all dream of being a princess. That is what makes these movies so unique. They encouraged our dreams and made us believe we could do anything. Somehow I have managed to pick the Top 5 Disney Animated Movies of all time. They are as follows:

5. The Lion King:

This movie was a fantastic display of true animation. The colors and pictures of African wildlife is exquisite. The music also held a new standard for animation. Sir Elton John had collaborated with Tim Rice. The music became something more than children’s lullabies, but masterpieces. The Lion King was also one of the first animations to hit Broadway in New York City. From its captivating imagery to its whimsical music, this classic remains timeless

4. Sleeping Beauty:

Was one of the first animated features created by Walt Disney. Its story was based upon a favorite Grimm fairytale. So, its success when sent to the big screen was emanate. The girls watching adored as the prince saved the day. And every little girl hoped to be rescued by their prince charming. Being one the first Disney classics, Sleeping Beauty has had a lot of recognition. Disney has managed to enhance the magic, with merchandise for children. So, every little girl can become Princess Aurora. The classic creation of Sleeping Beauty is what makes it timeless

3. The Little Mermaid:

Is another infamous movie created by Disney. This classic follows the story of a mermaid, who wants to live with humans. It was a great representation of wanting something more than the ordinary. The picture and songs were revolutionary, at the time of its release. To this day, this film is still loved by all.  It’s a combination of great vocal casting , beautiful animation, and excellent songs that makes Little Mermaid a classic.

2. Beauty and the Beast:

Was the first animation to have been nominated for an academy award. After the release of Beauty and Beast, the Academy Awards dedicated a special category to animated movies. Beauty and the Beast captivated audiences with its intense artistry and its engaging story. The music in this masterpiece was more than a kid’s sing-along. “Irresistible” is an apt description of this film, because every frame is imbued with a magic that is rare for any motion picture, animated or otherwise.

The mot popular tale told by Disney. Cinderella is a symbol of what is Walt Disney Studios. It is what made the parks so popular. It is what made the movies so magical. Her palace is the symbol and trademark of the company. She is what makes kids want to visit Disneyland and Disney World. The movie made an impression that made it last through two more sequels. There are no other words to describe Cinderella, but timeless classic.

The stories that are loved by all and the reasons they are. Walt Disney could have never imagined how much of an impact his movies would make. These movies are the reason for the multimillion dollar company’s success. These movies are still treasured to this day. Little girls around the world look up to the profound women in these fairy tales. They dream of being princesses and being rescued by a prince. No other empire could recreate the success that was established by Walt Disney. This is the reason for living, to get lost in a classic fairy tale.
